Functional Testing Guide
•Comprehensive Blood Work - This provides an essential baseline of health markers so we generally recommend this test as a starting point for all new clients. This panel assesses foundational aspects of health including nutrient status, thyroid function, blood lipid levels, and immune function, making it great for anyone with chronic issues or seeking to optimize overall health.

•Comprehensive Stool Analysis- This is another great test for those new to functional diagnostics, especially for children or those with needle-phobia. If your chief concerns include digestive issues such as constipation, bloating, diarrhea, abdominal pain, etc., this is an essential test for you.

•Organic Acids Test- Our OAT test is perhaps the most comprehensive of all, looking at over 70 biomarkers related to mitochondrial function, neurotransmitter metabolism, fatty acid metabolism, detoxification, amino acid levels, and nutritional status, yielding invaluable information to identify dysfunction in these areas. This test only requires a non-invasive urine sample and is especially useful for those with neurological issues, mood disorders, developmental delays, and chronic symptoms like fatigue, especially if standard pathology results are all coming back normal.

•Dutch Complete Hormone Test- This test is designed for those with suspected hormonal imbalances that give way to issues such as irregular cycles, sexual dysfunction, thyroid disorders, difficulty conceiving, fatigue, headaches, unexplained weight gain, or anxiety. Still, we typically recommend starting with stool or blood testing, as imbalanced hormone levels can actually by a byproduct of foundational imbalances including nutrient deficiencies, maldigestion, and toxicity.

•Full Thyroid Panel- For those with thyroid dysfunction, we offer our complete thyroid panel that looks at thyroid hormone levels, TPO/Thyroglobulin antibody levels, and Reverse T3, along with minerals such as Iodine and Selenium for a full picture of your thyroid health.
